Fairlawn City Code Chapter 291 Residential Housing Assistance Board

The Residential Housing Assistance Board is a public board that assists eligible residents in obtaining reimbursements and financial assistance for certain housing-related expenses.  The Board does this through the Residential Housing Reimbursement Program and the Residential Housing Rehabilitation Financial Assistance Program.

The Board is composed of a minimum of five members, but no more than seven members, who are appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the Council. The Board includes a minimum of two residents of the City of Fairlawn not holding office with or employed by the City, a member of the Real Property Maintenance Board, a member of the Fairlawn City Council, and a member of City of Fairlawn Administration.
