The City of Fairlawn has entered into a new contract with Dynegy for its electric aggregation services, effective June 2025. Under this agreement, residents will receive a fixed rate of 8.69 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) through June 2026. While we understand this is a significant increase, residents are not required to participate in this program and may opt-out at any time without any cancellation fees. We encourage residents to explore other available rates through the energy marketplace to find the best option for their needs.
