[ARCHIVED] City of Fairlawn Electric Aggregation Program

The City of Fairlawn has entered into a new contract with Dynegy for its electric aggregation services, effective June 2025.  Under this agreement, residents will receive a fixed rate of 8.69 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) through June 2026.  While we understand this is a significant increase, residents are not required to participate in this program and may opt-out at any time without any cancellation fees.  We encourage residents to explore other available rates through the energy marketplace to find the best option for their needs.  To compare rates, visit the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio’s website at https://www.energychoice.ohio.gov/ApplestoApples.aspx.  For more information about the electric aggregation program, please contact Dynegy directly at 888-682-2170 or contact the City of Fairlawn at 330-668-9500.
