Residential Housing Reimbursement Program
On December 20, 2004, Council passed legislation creating the Residential Flood Prevention Advisory Board. Applications are turned into City Hall, 3487 S. Smith Road, Fairlawn, OH 44333, during normal business hours. You may download an application from this site or pick one up at City Hall.
On February 23, 2009, Council passed Ordinance 2009-006, which renamed the Residential Flood Prevention Advisory Board to the Residential Housing Assistance Board. On November 21, 2022 Council passed Ordinance 2022-042A, which amended Chapter 291. Applications are reviewed and recommendations are made by the Residential Housing Assistance Board. Application.

Residential Housing Rehabilitation Financial Assistance Program
On February 23, 2009, Council passed Ordinance 2009-008A, which created the Residential Housing Rehabilitation Financial Assistance Program. On January 23, 2017 Council passed Ordinance 2016-091A, which amends Section 291.02. Application.
